RegistrationThe special rate for the AdvancedTCA Summit is just $206 nightly, but you must make your reservations by September 29. If you make your reservations by phone, be sure to mention that you are attending the Summit. For your convenience, you may also register directly online (see link below). LocationGetting to the Santa Clara Hyatt Regency Hotel is simple. It is just five miles from San Jose International Airport, and 30 miles from San Francisco International Airport. Note that a cab to or from the San Jose Airport costs $20, so you may prefer to rent a car (a cab from San Francisco would be outrageous). In either case, go to the Great America Parkway/Bowers Ave exit and head East (right if you’re coming from San Jose, left if from San Francisco). The hotel is about 2 miles away on your right, with the entrance being just beyond Tasman (where the light rail crosses). Parking is free. Supershuttle costs $17 from San Jose and $37 from San Francisco. There is high-speed Internet access in all rooms (for the usual $9.95 daily fee). There is wireless access at a charge in the lobby area. The Santa Clara Hyatt Regency Hotel is an easy drive from most Bay Area attractions. Palo Alto and Stanford University are a half-hour drive, as are the shops and restaurants of Los Gatos and Saratoga. San Francisco is less than an hour away, as are Santa Cruz and the redwood parks in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Monterey and Carmel are about an hour and a half drive. Gilroy, the self-proclaimed garlic capital of the world, is a half an hour drive in case you want to have breath bad enough to drive away even the hardiest salesperson!
