 AdvancedTCA Summit 2009 - Best of Show Awards Contest
We are no longer accepting entries for the 2009 Best of Show Awards. Thanks to all those who have submitted their products for consideration.
The AdvancedTCA Summit hereby announces the 3rd Annual AdvancedTCA Summit Best of Show Awards contest to be held at the AdvancedTCA Summit, Santa Clara, CA.
The AdvancedTCA Summit hereby announces the 3rd annual Awards contest to be held at the 5th annual AdvancedTCA Summit. This is the premier opportunity for industry recognition of your company’s technology innovation and how it is being used in the marketplace.
The contest is open to all AdvancedTCA Summit participants and attendees at no charge. Entries will be judged by a panel of experts, whose decision is final. Winners will be announced, and trophies awarded, at a ceremony during AdvancedTCA Summit on Wednesday, October 28th, from 6-6:30pm. A photographer will be present to take pictures of the winners.
Award Categories
Best Hardware Product
Includes boards, development systems, test equipment, computers, and similar products.
Describe under the required criteria why your product stands out and is used in an AdvancedTCA or MicroTCA hardware solution.
Best Software Product
Includes operating systems, development tools, applications packages, utilities, and similar software.
Describe under the required criteria why your software application stands out and is used in an AdvancedTCA or MicroTCA solution.
Best Infrastructure Product
Describe how a product is used within the network infrastructure, perhaps a device like a DLC, router, DSLAM, Media Gateway, etc. The three required criteria description would be where one would describe how their product stands out among all of the vendor applications especially how it is used within an AdvancedTCA or MicroTCA solution.
Best Unique Customer Application
Includes chassis, enclosures, connectors, cabling, power supplies, brackets, and similar products.
Hardware or software used in a unique way to support a customer requirement. So if you have a customer application say like with Verizon that is using an AdvancedTCA or uTCA platform solution that you believe to be quite unique then this award category would be the place for that kind of situation.
Criteria to be followed (please remember to address the three required criteria in your submission):
- Distinctiveness of the application, technology, or product
- Central use of AdvancedTCA
- Technical and business significance

Award recipients must have a representative on-hand at the ceremony. Any recipient who does not have such a representative on-hand will be disqualified, and the award will be given to the next highest ranking entrant. |
Entries are due by 6 pm PDT on Friday, September 18th (no extensions or exceptions).
